      Training is lead by Jeff Berblinger, a ten-year pro ball veteran.  Primarily a middle infielder, he played for six organizations and reached the major leagues in 1997 with the St. Louis Cardinals.  Berblinger was a former first team All-American at the University of Kansas and has been honored with induction into the school’s Hall of Fame.  He is also a member of the El Dorado Hall of Fame.  For the past five years, he served as an instructor and coach at Sluggers Academy in Wichita.

      Also on hand to lend his expertise is Mark “Carv” Carvalho, former coach at Friends University, and the most successful in its history, amassing 231 victories during his tenure.  His national ranked 2004 team won the KCAC championship and was Region 4 runner-up. Altogether, the Falcons won four (KCAC) championships under his leadership.  In his last seven seasons, 15 of his players reached the professional level.
